It's a conspiracy. We all secretly hate them.

No, I just didn't feel like drawing another cat with a similar body build again.

Not used as a reference, funnily enough, but they have similarities. I think it's mostly the eyes.

It does a bit. Hard not to when you draw a smug, evil-looking tiger I suppose.

Cool, it'd be awesome if you considered wild dogs like wolf, fox, coyote, dhole, dingo, African wild dog, and a domestic dog. Just some ideas

Considering it! Although I might do a separate one with just domestic dogs since they are so diverse. :)

Fun fact: Big cats roar and small cats purr, which makes the cheetah and lynx small cats and the snow leopard stays somewhere in between the classification.

Still, beautiful art and very interesting style :D

I planned on going with a more liberal definition which includes cheetahs, snow leopards and pumas into "big cats". However, I didn't feel like drawing a puma since it feels quite similar to some of the other cats here, so I ended up going with an even broader definition and added the lynx. "Biggish cats" would be more accurate, but in the end they felt big enough for me to stick with the title. ;)

I'm glad you liked it regardless of classifications!
